Highly detailed 16” x 13” Emanuel Bowen (1714-1767) map of South Britain or England and Wales, c. 1740. “drawn from a great number of particular surveys assisted by some of the most approved maps & charts containing all the cities, boroughs, market towns, with the principal direct and cross roads…” One and a half inch split at a top fold affecting very little. Very nice color. Beautifully matted and framed.
