Hart Family Genealogy Included Wintering At Valley Forge

Offering a five-page, 5 x 8, AL, intended for book research on the Hart family by author Alfred Andrews. In this unsigned letter, Bristol, CT, August 24^th, 1871, the writer provides several pages of listings of family members’ birth, death and marriage dates.  He writes, in small part, to Andrews, “...My grandfather [possibly Benjamin Hart] was born in Wallingford, Conn and went from there into the Continental Army and was one of the soldiers that wintered at Valley Forge.  After the war was over, he settled in Litchfield and raised a family of three boys and five daughters...”
