This journal may have been used by a former student of Chestnutwood’s Business College following his schooling.  The school could have also sold product. One page is an accounting for cash on hand at Chestnutwood, including money used to purchase inventory. Chestnut’s stamp appears at the beginning of the journal, claiming to be “The cheapest first class college on the Pacific Coast.”

Beautiful penmanship, very clean with light toning. Cloth covers have some toning and light staining, but are intact.
