    The University of Vermont (UVM) is officially the University of Vermont and State Agricultural College, a public land-grant research university in Burlington, VT. Founded in 1791, it is among the oldest universities in the United States. It was the fifth institution of higher education established in Nw England and is listed as one of the original eight Public Ivy institutions in the U.S.


    Offering two colorful matriculation tickets, 3 x 5, printed on card stock admitting two students to the Medical Department at the University of Vermont and State Agricultural College and signed by Ashbel P. Grinnell, M.D. in 1884 and 1890.  Grinnell was the Secretary of the Faculty on the Faculty of Medicine.


    One has soiling. Otherwise excellent.
